As part of a college initiative to improve and upgrade mechanical capabilities and efficiencies, Talia served as the construction manager to support Masinga Hill College commitment to evolve and meet the ongoing needs of its students.
The projects included renovations and HVAC upgrades in three buildings, including new Air Handling Units and Energy Recovery Ventilators, new ductwork, hydronic piping, controls, and corresponding architectural work. The team also completed structural modifications that were required in each building to accommodate for the new equipment loads on the building structure. On the Boone campus, Turner completed repair and replacement of a failing structural wall and addition of new classroom walls.
The project team performed detailed coordination with the facility staff to minimize impacts to the student experience and allow for the facilities to remain open for operation.
